Orinda Auto Detail - Aston Martin Opti Coat Pro

[Orinda Auto Detail]

This poor car was in pretty ruff shape from years of swirls, customer bought it a month ago the car was detailed at the Aston Martin dealer.


Washed 2x2 method with citrus wash
Decon with Iron-x and wolfs poly clay fine grade
Whole car was done with BF SRC compound, followed by SRC Finishing.
MF cutting rupes pad, with BF SRC compound and Rupes21. This gave me a good bit a cut with an almost LSP ready finish.
Polishing was done with Rupes21, MF finishing rupes pad, and BF SRC finishing polish.
IPA
Opti Coat pro plus was applied to the paint, wheels, and grill. Opti lens pro was used on plastic tail lights and head lights covers, as well as trim. Opti Glass pro was used on front window.



Poor Aston Martin just got a detail on the dealer.

one step of polish and car is looking much better.

Great work by you, I love Aston`s such pretty cars. I can not believe the dealer can sleep at night charging to do that kinda work. I have seen the same on a business acquaintances Bentley buffer trail city I didnt have the heart to point it out to him he seemed happy it was shine and you can see the sun reflecting of it every where

it took me a couple hour just to take all the old compound out of the cracks!

Work is always fantastic - however a long time ago I have found that if I use ADAPT followed by polish and do an IPA wipe down, OP didn`t last. IPA after each step was fine. BF maybe different, but I`d keep an eye out on that.
