Hi, I just used my PC for the first time this weekend, and while I covered my black trim molding with masking tape I still see some spots where the polish or wax got on it.

My question is, since a lot of people on here use DAWN dish soap to remove wax from their paint, will it also remove wax from plastic dark-grey trim molding? I know vinager works and I have heard peanut butter too, but I wanted to try something that would be quick without much mess. Thanks for the input.

Probably not, but it would be a good test as to the so called wax stripping abilities of Dawn.

If it takes wax off paint, it seems like it should take wax off plastic.
