I don`t own any, but I`m not going to lie, I would love some Festool machines above and beyond detailing equipment.

I know, for our sister shop we have strictly Festool and I have to say they are a notch about the rest. I do plan on trying their Rotary RAP80 polisher, it looks incredible. I would say if you are in the market for a rotary to try the Festool RAP 150, it is an incredible machine and they do make it in 110V for simple stateside use.

How long have you been running those transformers...

I was looking at something from Japan awhile back. And in looking at the transformers, all of them seemed to be junk except for the 400+ range. I decided it was not worth the cost of unknown longevity by using it as such.

Re: Festool. I got a garage full of green. All the way to their Kapex saw an Auto Clean vacs...

    But for auto detailing, bleh.
I was using the RO back in the days when PC was the thing....
Have had 120 German offerings over the years, Fein Rotary, etc.
I dunno, but the cost spent on that, I`d rather get a Kaeser compressor and maybe some pneumatic detailing tools - just to switch things up a bit
