And the car only has ONE brake light. The passenger side brake light was a dealer installed option which most did not install in 1931.

Yeah, that`s why I was thinking you`d better get it working

Ok been a while but I finally got to spend some quality time working on the car again. I broke down and bought an electric fuel pump and got it all wired up. I really went back and forth on this but as you can see from the pictures, it`s a real easy fix to go back to original should I want to. But the more I think about it the more I think "If I take this to a show and they dock me points for it... Well, they can just stick it because the electric fuel pump allows me to drive the car more reliably". Y`all weigh in on this because I really am torn on being a "purest" and just making the dang thing driveable.
Hey, they really excellent news is, I backed it into the garage! That means I can finally get to work detailing the driver`s side! I got the passenger side sparkling like new but I never much messed with the driver side because it was up against the wall. I`m inching ever closer to feeling comfortable driving this to work (about 5 miles, but in Irving/Las Colinas).

FIDOAG14- Ah, progress!
Could you switch the fuel pump back easily enough to drive it to a show on the electric and then switch it once you`re there?
Heh heh, take it to work huh? Be careful, that`s not Safety Glass...
Yea if you look in that first picture you can see the original fuel pump. It`s blocked a little bit by the hoses. But yes, to revert back to original would be about a 5-minute job of disconnecting and reconnected gas lines. I`m just thinking I don`t care enough what the judges think to mess with it!
Yea probably a pipe dream, but I`d love to be able to drive it around town some.
