I know a lot of are mostly concerned about protecting our paint and clear coat but what about non clear coat or surfaces that aren`t painted? Headlights, plastic/metal trim, wheels, glass, etc?

renzo- Note that (at least IMO) many of those surfaces don`t really need much in the way of protection unless there`s some unusual factor to consider. Automotive materials are pretty tough these days. That said,OK, this is Autopia.... with the exception of glass I just use whatever LSP/coating I consider appropriate: Headlights (maybe consider a protective film on these) and metal trim and wheels get whatever LSP I use on the rest of the vehicle unless I coat them instead (so far I`ve only coated wheels). Eh, I know this is Autopian Heresy, but on the wheels you could just not do *anything* except clean them with Wheel Cleaner and they`d be fine. Plastic trim I either merely treat with a leaves-stuff-behind QD or SprayWax (I *LOVE* ValuGard`s FastFinish for this!!) or else LSP with a Trim Sealant (I use Sonus and maintain with the FastFinish). Some LSPs (e.g., the klass Twins, Collinite 845, Souveran) are trim-friendly and with those you can just LSP the trim along with the paint. Glass I don`t coat/treat except one car that does get RainX simply because the previous owner used it and redoing it is easier than getting it off (at least for the time being); others use a Glass Sealant/Coating and some folks even LSP their glass.
