    Washing microfiber towels ?

I just picked up a bottle of dedicated microfiber "restore" detergent and I was wondering if you use it in addition to your laundry soap or as a stand alone when washing your towels?

use the restore by itself when washing your MF towels. do not add anything else. when drying towels make sure you do not have any bounce sheets etc in the dryer. you can also air dry towels if you like.

    Re: Washing microfiber towels ?

Even with my softened water, air-drying leaves my textiles way too stiff compared to machine drying. IME/AFAIK, MF won`t be damaged in a dryer unless the dryer is *REALLY* messed up and overheating.

I pretreat with APC sometimes if a MF has something nasty on it. This can lead to some foaming in the washer, but it works better (and cheaper) for me than pretreating with the MF detergent.

Rinse rinse rinse, maybe with one of those rinses using vinegar.
