1 or 2 interesting products there, nothing revolutionary though

What`s wrong with an MF wash mitt, I love my sonus der wunders

The hot rims non alkaline, non acid wheel cleaner I will support, not that I use any on my car (customers cars only (DP old label gel)
Car care/detailing sadly isn`t high on the agenda for 98% of australians.

I wonder if Mequiars is going to keep the overspray clay kit. It seems that Mequiars has alot of products that cross over into each other. Back when I used Mequiars exclusively I always spoke to them about the difference and you didn`t really get an answer one way or the other, but I still stuck with them and didn`t hold it against them.

The overspray clays are in the pro line; the new clay is supposed to replace the Quik Clay...and you can feel the difference ON THE BOX! (I guess the box has a picture of a car hood and a rough finish on one side, smooth on the other, so you can see what your car will feel like before/after by feeling the box). A lot of us would like to just buy the clay by itself; this new kit has QD, clay, cleaner wax, and a MF towel...that`s more than the Mother`s kit has.

As nice as that stuff is, I see no need for half of it. The wash mitts aren`t really my thing (I`ve never been a "mitt" guy), there`s no purpose for 5-6 different marketable wheel cleaners (I have two: one a dilutable non-acidic, one a dilutable acidic), the tire dressing may be a good thing depending on how it looks, and I`m loving the interior wipes, because I go through the interior QD rather quickly. That is one product I really wish they issued in their Detailer or Pro lines.

I am surprised that they didn`t offer more "new" products in the Detailer or Professional line.

The SEMA introductions are always consumer products.

We`ve got to remember that Meguiar`s will mainly be targeting their consumer line products and Joe Public who certainly won`t be up to Autopian levels of knowledge so having the thing to feel on the box is a good way of letting them know what they`re finish will feel like when they`re done. If I wasn`t autopian I`d certainly be wondering what the hell clay did anyway!
