My neighbor, whose cars I`ve detailed before asked me if I would be interested in cleaning up his boat. Since I was engineered out of a job last week, I decided to take him up on it. I just got it in my garage and was pleasantly surprised by the outside, just some sun fading and oxidation.

However, the inside! WOW! Small plants had grown up between the carpet sections to a few inches tall. Moss is growing in the same places, as well as on some carpet surfaces. Incredible.

Anyone have any tips on getting rid of moss? Been scraping and cleaning with Armour All Oxyclean Interior cleaner, but it looks like I need some more of something.

    Any help would be appreciated.

By the way, for those of you who`ve done boats, what`s the going price? I`m thinking $12 to $15 per foot is standard (It`s a 19 footer) but this is a special case.

    Thanks,

    Sam

Try using ammonia to kill the moss. Dilute with water as you see fit.
