If a product says that it contains silicone emulsion does this mean that it`s the good silicone or bad?

Um... not really. (no hard feelings) Is silicone emulision part of the siloxane or amino family?

Silicone emulsion means it`s a silicone emulsified in another liquid. The silicone is probably a siloxane. Amino identifies the family type of silicone.
Here`s a definition of emulsion: A suspension of small globules of one liquid in a second liquid with which the first will not mix.
An example would be vinegar and oil, as in a salad dressing.
From the description you`ve given (silicone emulsion), it`s impossible to say if it`s an amino functional silicone or not.forrest
