    Incredisponge for ONR/rinseless

I want to switch over from the GD wash method to the one bucket method as far as rinseless washing is concerned.
I just didn`t like the fact that I had so many MF`s to wash w the GD method. Just knowing that I had to wash a load of MF`s after every wash was sort of discouraging me from doing rinseless washes.

I know everyone loves the Big Red Sponge but I found this one and I`m wondering if anyone has any experience w it for ONR/rinseless washes.

    https://www.carpro-us.com/microfiber...incredisponge/

It looks a bit smaller than the Big red Sponge which I like and I`m placing an order w Car Pro soon anyway so....

I`ve used the incredimitt and the incredisponge. They both work great but my incredisponge ripped at the seam after probably 10 washes. Probably just got a lemon. It happens. I wash my mitts after every wash though. The mitt is still going strong.

I feel that they pull more dirt off the paint than the BRS.

I switched over to the Bone Wash Sponge, you can get two for less than $10 on sale.

    The Bone Wash Sponge

So far, I`ve been very happy with them.

Did you contact Car Pro (or where ever you got it) and let them know?

No I probably should have i just wasn`t that concerned. Corey is a great guy and I`m sure he would have sent me a new one. I kinda wanted to see what was in it so i dissected it. I threw out the sponge and actually used the incredi material to rinseless wash wheels. Work pretty good.

I like both the mitt and sponge but I think I might try the pad. To me it looks the best of both. I didn`t care for how thick the sponge was.

I use these, I got 11 of them. Sometimes I`ll toss all in a bucket and use the GDWM and sometimes if I just feel like mixing 1 gallon of RW only then tossing it I`ll use one or two and the 1 bucket with a grit guard and filter. Short fibers make it much easier to clean than something with long ones, very soft and flexible (better adjustment to contours vs. a sponge) .

Thanks!! Those look like something I`d like. Are those the Merino wash mitts from Car Pro?

Have you looked into the ProLine Grout Sponge from Lowes for rinseless washing?

I used those a few years ago for all my washing needs. Word is they are made differently now and are not as "safe" for paint.

I used this Bone today on a Sprinter Van and it worked great with ONR. I used it with a nanoskin clay towel after the first cleaning also to add lubrication by just squeezing ahead of the towel. It was a great time saver since I had no access to city water today and my well water spots badly. I used about 3 gallons 2 to wash 1 to clay towel.

One bucket or two? I`m always interested in people`s ONR procedure.

    Re: Incredisponge for ONR/rinseless

I can`t speak for Wing Commander but I have gone back to the Gary Dean method with ONR.

I have tested the one bucket method that optimum promotes for quite a while and I do feel it`s safe. I have not marred my vehicles in any way by using it.

The only thing I don`t like is seeing dirty solution and putting my sponge or mitt back in. It`s just an OCD thing. I like to work clean and feel I do with the GD method. I do laundry no matter what so for me the extra towels are not a big deal.
