    Polishing an aluminum RV

Did a test spot with a regular polish the client had.

I need a good aluminum polish and pads. The client said she`d pay for what`s needed. I need some recommendations.

I wish I could help you out but what you did looks pretty good. Sticking with what you used a possibility?

Go with Poorboy`s as I believe it can be used in the sun. But what ever you do do over the whole thing. If you go with a course the a fine compound in on spot you will have to do over the whole thing

It`s going to be a one step. We`re looking at $300-400 or so

If it`s going to be a one step you are not going to highly polish aluminum .. PwC is used by many boat and RV detailers and it`s easy in the sun

if you are only going to make one pass at it , I wouldn`t get too abrasive or you will leave marring .. either a polishing pad or finessing pad should do

$300-$400 for the whole thing?? Does that include the cost of your pads and polish too?

Yup you`re right. Even still, $300-$400 to do an entire RV seems way too low - that`s a heck of a lot of real estate. Maybe some of the pro`s can chime in on this one.

I agree. I have done our 32` Fiberglass a few times and compounding then LSP is a lengthy job. The real estate alone is in the 920ish square feet along with the 10-12 foot height`s.
