I stand by my original suggestion. 26 dollars if you have prime.

    Re: Light Sources

I would get the iyp365 (Nichia 219 series LED) since its 125 lumens + 93 cri, and astro for around 73 bucks. (with your $20 amazon bucks)

edit: here are some review of the light I keep talking about but no one acknowledges as if its some sort of lie...

It is a very high quality light for the price, and definitely better than anything that`s been listed as a penlight in your previous thread, including that nightstick.

I carry this light on me 365 days a year, and only remove it during leap years. I use it for quick inspection of cars, swirl finding and my general purpose flashlight.

Shaking Horizons- I apologize for this less-than-swell opinion, but IME you simply have to see for yourself what works for you. Some of the recommendations/slams that are Gospel Truth for others simply didn`t work out that way for me.

That said, I`ll be interested to hear what you decide to go with and how it works for you.

I stick by scangrip; I`ve dropped, kicked, sprayed and greased those lights and they run great to this day.

I also have this for correction.

    Re: Light Sources

You HP12 users running it at the full 900(!) lumens? Even my lower-output lights can be too bright for light metallics...at least to my eyes.

Sure not slamming it, might even pick one up for some non-detailing stuff if it`s really All That.
