Was looking into Black Forest sealant since you guys raved about it. So use that in the fall when I seal it before winter. Thanks for the suggestions.

How about Zymol? I`ve only used their cleaner wax before.

Black Forest sealant is awesome. So is BlackFire.

If I was dropping up to 2 bills on a wax based on looks & I was the OP, I`d look at:

    Fuzion
    Souveran
    NaviWax Ultimate
    Nattys Blue
    Dodo Blue Velvet Pro
    Zymol Glasur.

I`ve used all those waxes extensively. They are all good lookers and easy to work with.

The "issue" with CGs is their products are hit or miss. Some are great - some suck. There have been some limited reviews of their high dollar waxes - most of them are positive. But you can Google any of the above waxes and see great reviews

Re: Looking for a step up in wax for my stang

Sorry, I meant Blackfire. In the fall, I`ll seal the car with either blackfire or Jetseal and use a more durable wax for the winter. I`m thinking collinite.

But for now I want more of show wax for the summer. Of those ones you just listed, which is the nicest show wax(not worrying about durability)?

So I really made a mistake with Pinnacle products. I washed off my GTI last night using CG VO7 wash. The car got Poorboy`s Sealant+Polish last week. She looked pretty good. So then after drying I decided to try the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray again. Wow. Really gave a deep shine. Noticeable difference. I may pick up a sample size of Souveran.

What really irks me is that CG doesn`t offer sample sizes on the high end waxes. If they are that good, give a sample. If it out does the competition, you`ll buy the bigger size. At least I would.

Some pics of the GTI detail

I was wondering about the synergy wax, if it`s got the glass in it, then is it harder?

Don`t give up on CG just because a few people don`t like their web page or advertising lingo, they do have some very good products. I like Petes 53. Saying that my two favorites are Wolfgang Fusion and Pinnacle Sourveran. I think you would be very happy with all three.

Id try kamikaze infinity or Polosh Angel Viking coat/cosmic over synergy simply due to price difference

Polishangel isn`t cheap stuff by any means either, and the infinity looks good, but I can`t find hardly any reviews on it, while the synergy has 5 stars across the board
