I got a "sale" email from Autogeek that featured a write up by Barry Theal on a Dodge Viper detail using Americana Car Care products. It looked FANTASTIC!!! When is Autogeek and/or Autopia Car Care going to carry Americana Car Care products???

I don`t think you can compare 3D/HD to Americana or whatever it`s called. The former has multiple retail stores, a huge following for their polishes, and a large forum presence.
"Americana" has none of that. I here BT is an awesome detailer, but who`s to say his products are better than anyone else`s? Really you need more than a grass roots approach to become a large player in the detailing product world.
You`ll see AMMO here before "Americana"

It`s easy to see 3D is larger then Americana but they have been on the market for years. American is just coming up on it`s first year. They are already in South America and headed to Europe soon. So it`s too early to see where they are headed but if sales continue at their current pace I won`t be surprised to see a major player pick the line up in the near future.

I made mention of the size comparison and age of both companies. The facebook forums frequently mention the up and coming brands. Americans , C.A.R and a few others. I believe these companies will continue to expand at a fast rate as long as they deliver what the customers want and listen to their needs.

AmeriRocks, AmeriDepth, AmeriOne and AmeriSeal were a pleasure to use from the sample pack I got a while pack. Each product was easy to use, did a great job and were very reasonable in each product needed. I haven`t tried out the new stuff they are coming out with but you`d probably enjoy their products.

i am sure it would be considered if there was sufficient interest. It seems a lot of detailers start their own private brands made by someone else but tailored to their own specifics. I think some still have this notion that AG is against specifics products but I just do not see it. AG sells CG, Buff and Shine (think AG owns LC wholesale), etc and these were considered never as well.
I believe it is all about a pricing model that allows AG to buy it a wholesale price with sufficient room to mark up and sell profitably. Some private brands have wholesale costs close to the listed selling price because the maker`s costs are high (small volumes, etc).
