Questions about Wet Diamond Waterless Wash...

    1) What kind of sprayers do people use. Do you prefer the ones you pump to provide some pressure or regular hand spray bottles?

    2) How tolerant is it of being applied to a hot car? Was thinking of giving some to my son who lives in San Diego (no garage, little shade). He has a 2010 Altima with light colored paint if that affects the answer.

    3) Should I change the dilution ratio if it`s be used when it`s hot outside?

    4) Says it has "polymers" that act as protectant. Does that mean wax/sealant? Will this keep renewing the base layer like a spray wax?

    5) Can it be used on windows? On plastic trim? On wheels?

    Thanks

Safely cleans paint, chrome, plastics, glass, and metals.
    Enhances gloss and protection.
    Dries clear and resists streaking.
High lubricity polymers protect surfaces from marring.

Work out of direct sunlight for best results.

It`s not bad I find über better. It`s close to Ultima IMO.

Papa, it definitely leaves something behind and of all the Waterless Washes I`ve used takes the most attention to get wiped off. Not a good choice in cold weather as it tends to streak. I haven`t applied it in the sunlight but I think it`s one that I would avoid doing so. This all said, it leaves a very nice finish given the right set of circumstances.

Get Wolfgang Uber. Works great as a waterless and Rinseless wash. I actually use it primarily as a waterless

Couldn`t find a recommended dilution for Uber as a waterless but someone in a thread mentioned 1:48; which would be quite economical.

While I was in SD, I was going to detail his car then teach him to do a waterless. Was going to leave him with some product and a bunch of microfiber towels. If there`s a sun-friendly waterless with wax, that would be terrific. If not, I could give him some D156 spray wax along with the waterless.

Have my first order from Autopia incoming with:

    Gallon of D156
16oz of Wet Diamond Waterless 1:48
Gallon of 3D waterless (instructions say not to dilute, but forums say 1:1 dilution leads to fewer streaks)
    Crapload of mf towels

    Already have:

2 gallons of D155 (which has been sold as a waterless in other countries)
    16oz of Wolfgang Uber
    Crapload of mf towels

Was going to be comparing the waterless washes myself to see what I like best, but my conditions are different than my son`s. His environment is a lot dustier and a lot less humid.

Probably shouldn`t have bought 2 gallons of 155, but it was super cheap from AG and I didn`t really understand the dilution ratios very well. I`m set for instant detailer and clay lube for life. I`d give him some, but have read it`s not very good on a hot car.

So, would Uber diluted at 1:48 plus a small bottle of 155 be the best bet?

    Thanks

By chasing bargains, I somehow ended up buying WAY too much stuff with overlapping functions. Sounds like I have 4-5 products when a gallon of Uber Rinseless would have worked better. But I did want to see for myself what I thought worked best.
