Wet Ice over Fire or Black Ice?

finally going to order some BF products.

I`m torn between getting the Wet Ice over Fire combo or Black Ice (3 oz)

I`m thinking Wet Ice over Fire would be more universal to more colors of vehicles so this may be the best option to appeal to the broader clientele but Black Ice has always had my eye.

but then don`t I have to let the BFWD cure at least 6 hours prior to the MS wax? This leans me towards black ice as it would just be one cure time to consider (I don`t want these car staying over night in my garage making my challenger park outside)

I`d probably just end up layering the black ice over my PBL and not selling it to my clients

    Thoughts?

If there was a black ice over fire combo deal this would not be in question.

a few concerns of mine : I`m assuming the Black Ice would last much longer but how much longer in general?
I definitely know the wet ice over fire would take longer to apply/cure

I love the black ice, but can`t give a good answer on durability...

    I am what I am.

to my knowledge the montan in black ice is only effective on dark colors, right?

I don`t recall if I`ve seen anyone post using it on a light colored veh but I could have missed it

Ron do you prefer the crystal paint coating over any of these listed above?

Ow ! Now you`re hittin hard.

Coatings look really really good. But there`s nuttin like the look and feel of wax......... But Crystal coating comes close in looks dept. But nuttin has the "silky smooth" feel of wax

It`s got some good durability, just couldn`t give ya a time frame.

But I had it on the vette till I coated it.

Go with the BFWD/Midnight Sun combo. It`s more versatile and looks wonderful.

And I believe it was Todd who said, unofficially, that after the changes (some sort of powder added) in 2011, you don`t *have* to let it cure the standard time, and that 45 min would probably suffice for ~80% curing, in good weather conditions.
Google BFWD cure time and I think his thread on this site is one of the top results.
I can personally verify good durability after relatively short cure times.

bfwd + bfms are more versatile and both look great as stand alone products too.

Definitely leaning towards bfwd and bfms
If not just for potential ROI alone.
