    If you`re near Shelby Twp, or Rochester Hills, you can try the Duetto to see how you like it. You can also try the Craftsman if you like.

    Honestly, I absolutely love that machine. Their whole system of pads and compounds really impresses me.

    If you can get your hands on a first generation Porter Cable 7424, those are really manageable one handed too.

    I live in Richmond, which is about 40 miles Northeast of Detroit, I am very close to Shelby Township ..

    Griots Garage 5 Inch Lithium-Ion Random Orbital Polisher

    a few of our members use this and love it for waxing, aio, light polishing. maybe they could chime in on it`s one handed use.

    Ah, yes! I sometimes go that route through Gratiot when heading to band rehearsal in St. Clair.

    You`re more than welcome to come down to our place, or I could swing by Richmond.

    I have had mine for awhile and its nice for waxing and some light polishing...

    I have the old school, original 7424, the 7424xp, Dupes Duetto, and that Craftsman 5".

    If the car is in good shape, the griots cordless is a one hander....plenty of batt power - i did an X5 on one batt.

    Its all i use these days on my new car....
