    Re: Removing Clearbra

The quickest way I have done removals has been using a heat gun and while the glue is still warm I spray WD40 on the glue and wipe the glue off immediately. ...works like a charm and clean up is a breeze. ...compared to removing the bra and then go back and remove glue...

I used my IR lamp to heat the panel up first on a car a couple weeks ago, which worked great. I pulled it off in the same fashion but it was faster then using a heat gun IMO.

    Re: Removing Clearbra

If you stretch the material off rather than peeling it back, little to no glue stays on the car. You`ll notice, I just let the sun hit the front of the car and the complete removal took about ten minutes including the couple of tiny spots of glue. BTW, the use of WD40 makes great sense because if you use a solvent, the glue sticks back down as the solvent dries. Next time someone calls be because they left glue all over their car I`ll tell them about that.
