Why I prefer Carpet Extraction -- another Bissell Little Green ProHeat demo

So this was my 1996 Toyota Corolla that was disgustingly soiled. I bought it as a commuter to keep the miles off my M3 and to save the gas $.

The detailer in me also bought it to restore it, lol. I found it exciting that it was as bad as it was. There were so many spills that it was apparent the previous owner never even attempted to clean them up. Probably just let them sit and dry out!

Anyways, I ripped out the seats and started detailing the carpets. This was shortly before I bought my Mytee unit, which would have made this job a LOT easier. But, the results were still professional-grade. This little machine gets the job done if you`re on a budget or as a great backup! I bought a used Mytee that we very temperamental, and this little guy came in as backup a few times to save my day.

I still use my little green and it works well, especially if a real steam extractor is out of your price range. heck, even a shop wet/dry vac can suffice. thanks for taking time to make your videos.

I have green machine too. Love it.

Someone said they no longer offer it.

I saw this yesterday at grocery store

LGM might be gone, but Bissell has others that have replaced it. There are a few here and still affordable: Search Results | Kohl`s

I have this one and use it the same way as Quenga: Bissell SpotClean Plus Portable Deep Cleaner

I think Target carries these models also.

There are plenty of versions on Amazon. I`ve seen them as low as $70 at one point w/ Prime shipping.

I thought about getting the Rug Doctor to try it out, but since I don`t like their big machines I can`t see why I`d like a cheaper version.

I wonder how long it would take if i buy this and use it for a 266 square feet carpet lol (looking to get a 60 years old house and deep clean the carpet)

Nice videos. I wonder how the outcome would have faired if you used a dedicated carpet shampoo, then vacuum and then toweled?

Ebay and search tempest. Price means nothing to people who wholesale or just want it gone. I paid 100$ shipped for a brand new returned Technovap steamer. Search hard enough an you will find something for a sweet deal, same goes with paint depth gauges.

It`d probably break your back before you finished!

I would scan the "non-big retailers" for discounted and refurbished stuff. I got a floor cleaner for 1/2 the price as brand new, which was even cheaper than Amazon.

I`ve done that for quick clean ups, but it doesn`t work as well as extraction. The majority of interior details I saw were also very horrible. You can`t really tell how bad this carpet is -- it gave me headaches from driving it. I HAD to drive with the windows down when I first bought it.

I`ve tried all sorts of carpet cleaners, vapor steamers, shop vac / towel combos... none worked as well as extraction.
