A man has got to recognize his limitations, and then learn how to adapt within those confines. Then go out and conquer.
The bad part about using wax on windshields isn`t that it will affect the wipers (it won`t) but a real wax not a polymer will cause smearing and a loss of visibility. You will initially notice it at the end of the wiper `sweep` where the wax that has been `scraped up` by the squeegee action of the wiper is deposited on the glass. I`ve noticed that some of the synthetics do the same thing.
While I feel that wax is "ok" for windows that don`t roll up & down (or have wiper blades), I still think Rain-X is still the best choice for windows period

Vanilla Moose rocks on windows. I have some Diamondite on mine and am testing it out. It seems to work pretty well.
