If your not going to use it much its ok. But you cant service the pump if something goes wrong you just throw it away. The best buy around is the honda unit that sold at Home Depot. It has a cat pump that you can purchase parts for and rebuild. It sells for $699.00 The nice thing is you can remove it from that dam cart and mount in your van, truck or on your trailer. Mine is over five years old has thousands of hours and works great. I put a bypass valve on it so I dont burn it up. You cant do that with the cheaper one.
You can hook it up to a water tank just make sure you use one inch hose

    Good luck!

    Yeah!

I purchased a genrator from that was a recon for $500.00 Its original price was $700.00

It was never used. Some one purchased it opened the box and returned it.

Home Depot sent it back to the Mfg. had them check it out. Once thats done its considered a recon. unit

You and your new pressure washer will be very happy together.

Dont foregt to get a bypass valve back to the tank asap.

    Good luck.

can you take a picture of your setup. I have honda 5.5 hp 3dx25gsi cat pump, and i had a bypass valve on it. Also i used 1 inch hose, bypass valve works only uf you have enough pressure, i have 100 gallon tank and it seems that it is not enough. So can you please show as you setup.
    Thanks.

Sometimes there is a big glass filter thats on the inlet side of the pump. Its very restrictive.

    Do you have one?

Also you should have a load adjustment on your valve with a pressure regulator if u turn your pressure down you will conserve water.

In California we could get 15 to 20 cars washed if they were not very dirty.

Take that sucker off. You can buy a screen filter from Home Depot. It looks like a rubber washer.

I use one of these and have not had any problems. Just remove it once or twice a month to clean.

    Rember keep tour tank clean.

Let me know if this works.

Check with a local company that repairs and sells parts. They should have what your looking for.
