How to De-Scuff a Clear Bra

I have some scuffs in the clear bra on the nose. Any product or technique to get them out? I tried polish but didn`t work...

I have had success using Menzerna Power Finish on a 4" orange LC pad with a rotary. Depends on how deep the scuffs are and the exact nature of the clear bra. It takes time because you have to go slow to not over-heat the plastic. Proceed with caution.

I have used poorboys pro polish and a green über polishing pad on the gg da at speed 5. I did not have many deep scuffs just random dot of amber. It must have been pollen or something.

Treat it just as you would paint. Orange pads & Menzerna have always worked for me.

I would recommend always testing an inconspicuous spot first. The material used to make clear bra`s can vary dramatically and respond quite differently to polishes. Many will respond similar to paint, however some will not.

I`ve used Menzerna SIP and an orange pad. Just don`t over heat the area you`re working

A chemical based polish like PB PP is what I use, to keep from causing any more marring.

This worked like a charm on my personal car.

A lot depends on the type of film used also. Do you know what type of film was used?

I actually install film all the time and on Xpel film, Ventureshield(3m scotchgaurd is same as this now), You can use a medium aggressive polish and it will take off most scuffs. I usually try by hand first. Shoot me for this but Turtle wax ICE has enough solvents in it that seem to do a good job on film too(why waste my pinnacle or bfwd on plasic?)

    Agreed!

IME the 3M stuff has been easy to work with but I`ve had a Ventureshield job that was a PITA. Sonax Perfect Finish is my new go to product for PPF.

I worked on an older 3M film that would haze no matter what I did. Sometimes you just try a spot and scratch your head in disbelief!
