    Greenworks 1800

Ok finally got around to try out this amazon foam cannon with my Greenworks 1800. It seems to foam, but wasn`t that thick foam. I know people say the electric washers dont produce foam as well as gas, but do you think it may also be the foam cannon? Trying to figure out if I need a more powerful pressure washer or the MTM foam cannon. Any Help please?

My MTM cannon used with an electric pressure washer makes a nice thick blanket of foam. Always have to wonder about the filter in the MTM cannons if you aren`t getting a lot of foam.

I got a cg foam canon to use with a gas pressure washer and I still don`t get a lot of foam. But maybe I`m not putting enough soap in the canon

GPM plays a role in the amount of foam.

Higher GPM will produce more foam, of course you need to adjust your soap ratio in the foam gun (more soap). For example water exiting the tip of the nozzle at 1800psi/2GPM will have more kinetic energy than water existing the tip of nozzle at 1800psi/1.6GPM because we have more water weight being moved per unit of time given the same pressures, basically. I have the Greenworks 1600 and it is a piddly little thing and have used pressure washers with the same PSI but higher GPM and there is quite a difference. Also make sure that your foam tool is set to full foam; specific soaps will foam more or less than others, and don`t be afraid to put a little bit more soap in that foam tool.

I`d also add water quality - hard vs soft - plays a role. If your water is hard, you`ll have more difficulty producing suds regardless of the amount of soap you use.

I have a water softening system for my well, use an electric 1900psi 1.5gpm pw + MTM foam cannon = nice thick foam:

Thanks all... I have the Greenworks 1800, but the GPM is only 1.1
