    Removing Stainless Rocker Panels?

Hey guys, what do you recommend I do to remove the stainless steel rocker panels from my `97 GMC truck? It has been on there about two years for the most part. Has anyone ever done such an extensive trim/adhesive removal?
    Thanks,
    Dave

Get some fishing line, you should be able to get it behind the molding and cut thru the adhessive. That or a heat gun and just pull it off.

Those would be my choices as well.

I have found that the braided kevlar type fishing lines work great..better than the monofilament type....you can get 20 pound test braided that is the diameter of 6 pound mono..this stuff cuts through trim tape like a hot knife through butter....one brand is named spectre line..the other is called fireline....wear gloves..as it will cut into your skin also....
