PakShak - Ultra Fine vs Ultra Plush

Just wondering what each towel is good for... just in the final stages of putting together an order now. So many choices... yet not sure of which is best for what!

What tasks would you use exclusively the Ultra Fine or Ultra Plush for?

Maybe it`s just better to ask what Pakshak towels are best for what (I know what to use WW for)....

    Wax/Sealant Removal - ?
    QDing/S+W - ?
    Final Buff - ?

    Input is appreciated. Thanks!

Thought that I would bump this thread.

Although I think that 97F150 4x4 gave a very good answer to the thread starter, pr0digy25, Somehow I thought that there would have been more opinions on MF towels.

I have a lot of towels but I use the same towel for almost everything. So the only thing I am expert in, as far as MF towels, is purchasing them.

Hey Spilchy, how are about chiming in. I know that you have a lot of MF towels. I also know that I value your opinion. You have given a lot of informative posts in the past. How about one now? Or anyone else that feels like they are informed.

    I`m not spilchy but,
I use the longer nap for QDing , shorter nap for product removal and glass cleaning.I found the shorter nap from microfibertech 70/30 has more bite when removing hard to remove wax/sealants with no marring.

I am well aware that you are not Spichy, but I value your opinion non the less, Joe. I am not sure where I went away from the plush towel but there was a long time that the only towels that I would use were the short nap MF towel.

I have been re-introduced to the plush towel thru several vendors. Now I am sitting on the fence as to wether I like them or not. I have a lot of plush towels, WW, super plush and foam core. All of them are put to use. What I have found that most of them do what I want them to do no matter what the job.

Has anyone else found this to be true? Maybe I am missing something.

I would agree with that. I also have various short nap towels and of course the plush towels. I do prefer the shorter napped ones for product removal such as waxes and polishes. And prefer the Ultra Plush for QD`ing They seem to be a little more absorbent than the shorter napped towels. And not sure they are more absorbent but they do it faster.

+ 1 here.I didn`t realize this until i started to have and use several types of MFs. I haven`t tried the shorter nap for QDing but i value your opinion and will give a shot..
