    meguiars #26 hi-tech paste wax??

anyone use it yet? how does it compare to s100 paste wax and poorboy`s nattys paste wax? im planning to get a paste wax and i want all your opinions.

ive heard from someone that meguiars discontinued their $16 paste wax and came out with something better. im thinkin that the #26 is newer but im not sure as i never used paste wax before. please provide some inputs, thanks.

Meguiar`s #26 has been around a long time.
    Haven`t used the #26, the #16, or the Natty`s.
I have used the S100 Carnauba and it has some good things going for it as far as I am concerned.
    1. IMO, great look.
    2. Easy on, easy off. Like wipe it on, wipe it off. No rubbing.
    3. It doesn`t stain black plastic trim!

#26 is really a great bargain in the paste form. I think you can find it at your local autozone, advanced auto, or other parts store for like 5 bucks. It is better looking on darker colors like red or black, it doesn`t dry white either.

I have used #26. I cant compare it to other waxes because i havent used them all yet. I bought mine at napa for 10 bucks. A little goes along way. It leaves a very warm look. The only downside is that it can be a little chunky.

I`ve used it too, probably 10 years ago it seems like. Worked good for me on a dark red car back then.

I haven`t use #26, but I do have #16,Nattys and S100. Those 3 wax wipe off very ezy.

#26 is a fine wax, however the carnuba content is not that high. (That may or may not be a factor for you).

What I find is that #26 adds a "warm glow" as it deepens the paint. Nice look if that`s what you want. It depends on the color of the car - when I want blue metallic paint to pop I don`t use #26 as it "softens the look" and adds "warmth" to the paint. However, this would be great on red and black.
    Instead I`ll use #16 . . .

#16 is a great old fashioned wax that can`t be beat. I`m sorry to see it disappearing from the market. #16 gives a clear and bright look. It requires a little more control in application. Too much and it becomes difficult to remove. Meg`s Mirror-Glaze #16, as it is called, is one of my all time faves!

S-100/P21S is a highly regarded carnuba wax. Very EO/EO.

There are so many others to choose from. Often it`s a matter of trial and error to see what looks good to your eyes on your ride. BTW, very nice ride you have. Good luck with it.

    Hope all this helps.
