    Is HD Total discontinued?

Went on the 3D site today and could not find it. Any news? Is there a replacement?
    Thanks,
    Chris

I don`t know if it was discontinued or just a terrible product. I tried it at varying dilutions and it really didn`t do much as far as grease cutting. It was the worst APC I have ever used. I went right back to Meg`s APC. The glass cleaner should also be discontinued.

Are you referring to the 50:1 glass cleaner?? If so, don`t understand it? I find the 50:1 Glass Cleaner not only to be the best window cleaner I`ve ever used but the most economical. It even allows you to have streak free window cleaning in less than ideal light such as in the garage.

Not the 50:1. The RTU. Almost every other brand works better, Meg`s , Stoners etc. it was similar to the APC, just wouldn`t cut through tough stuff. I still use it on interior glass, but that`s all. I haven`t tried the 50:1, but I figured it was the same. $7.99 for 16 oz.

HD glass cleaner is different from 3D 50:1 glass cleaner. The HD one did not work for me. The MSDS on both are different.

Don`t forget that`s for a concentrate that makes 32 22 oz RTU bottles at .25 per bottle.

    Re: Is HD Total discontinued?

I just looked at my 16 oz bottle of HD Glass cleaner. It`s a RTU that comes with a sprayer. Not recommended to be diluted. I bought it here on Autopia maybe 6 months ago. The HD Total is an APC that can be diluted (also says it can be used on glass!). I would not recommend either. The HD Total has no smell, which is a good thing, but it also doesn`t remove grease, which is a bad thing. Stick with Meguires for APC and glass. Just my opinion.

    Re: Is HD Total discontinued?

I have used total for cleaning of my interior and so far it has worked great but I do not let my interiors get too dirty. I use total as a cleaner spray for the wheels which gets most of it off and then hit it with BDX for the tough spots. HD Glass I use everyday and it is good for that although I do have to go over grease smears a couple of times to remove them. What glass cleaners do people recommend that remove those outside and inside grease smears right away?
    Thanks,
    Chris

I bought a bottle of the 50:1, for 5 bucks it was worth a try. mix it like they say, I added just a scoch extra, and it works great! I had been a stoners fan till I used this.
