Greetings from Central Florida

Morning all,

I recently 'discovered' this forum and appreciate all the info. I recently bought an 08 F250 Crewcab 44x4 King Ranch for my daily driver and tow vehicle for camping. I'd like this truck to stay in great shape for many years...the 94 Bronco I traded was well maintained and I want to out do my efforts on that.

I am really intrigued with the Ultima car care line and ordered the sampler kit along with the T & TGP. The sun and salt here in Florida can be wicked, and I hope to have the best protection I can get, especially since the truck is too big for the garage and will be constantly exposed to the rain and sun.

Looks like I may need to 'relearn' a few things. I was once told to use liquid Ivory dish washing soap as a gentle carwash...now I read that it will strip the protective finish off cars.

Can't wait to get the new sampler kit and see how the truck shines.

Regards

Randy

Re: Greetings from Central Florida

Thanks for the welcome, seems like the detail bug has bit again. Hopefully I will be able to maintain the new truck easier and faster with the newer products, than what I had in the 70s

Regards

Re: Greetings from Central Florida

Actually I'm on the SpaceCoast, and living beachside is tough on vehicles, so I need to get something with durability on the finish.
