depends on what you want to accomplish.
chemical guys,
klasse,
sonus, jeffs werkstatt, zaino, poorboys,
pinnacle, DP,
Menzerna, optimum, the list goes on with great brands. you might want to consider investing in a porter cable to tackle the serious scratches and swirls. If you want durability then you'll probably want to lean towards sealants. if you want jaw dropping wet paint, then carnauba might be the ticket. Of course that doesn't mean you can't get a durable carnauba or an awesome look with a sealant either. My advice for someone just getting into detailing would be to look at the
meguiars NXT, or duragloss lines. Both provide good results without a large dent in the wallet and both can be found Locally over the counter.
meguiars should be everywhere and carquest carries duragloss. or if budget isn't a real issue, pick a brand and start experimenting, almost all of the boutique brands are good. Also you should be using microfiber towels if you aren't already.
