New member from Melbourne (OZ)

Hey all,

My name is John, and I've just joined this group today. I've already signed in on the Australian forum, thought I should do the same here and say hello to everyone.

I live in Melbourne, Australia, and we are suffering from pretty severe water restrictions here at the moment, most severe i've ever seen. The whole country could use some good rain. As of January first, we are no longer allowed to wash our cars except for the lights, mirrors and glass, but I have been saving left-over clean water from drinking glasses etc, and after about 2 weeks, I have enough to wash my car with QEW.

I have a 1992 BMW M5 (Macau Blue) that I tend to spend a lot of time doting over, and have tried a lot of different products over the past couple of years. Recently, I was introduced to Swissol Concorso, and have become a convert, I love this stuff! Here's a pic:

Lot's more pics of my car at JRobbo’s BMW E34 M5 page

I was referred to this forum by another member here, 3fiddyz, and I hang around on several detailing and car related sites.

Looking forward to learning a lot from you guys, and hopefully contributing something worthwhile as well

Cheers

John

Welcome here too John. I think I've seen your car somewhere recently.
All kidding aside, you'll enjoy Autopia to no end, the knowledge base here is phenomenal.
