Just saying hi

Hi Guys/Gals,

Just introducing myself.

Roger from England - never done any detailing work. Want to get my head round it as i want to do my car to the highest degree possible. Call it a project if you will??

Oh yes the car - 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo SE. Owned her for just over a year now and have 'modified and upgraded' lots of the oily bits. As always plenty more to do. She is my year round daily drive and i absolutely love her to bits.

Also just acquired the Esprit S4s 3 piece split rims and i am having refurbed by a company here in England. Considering a full respray to the body at some point as my baby has a few faded bits and some serious 'blistering/gel crazing' in the paint on the spoiler and tailgate lid. Pretty much the norm for this colour (Calypso Red) as i have learned.

Have a few swirls and scratches here and there but she still turns heads everywhere she goes and will shame most very very expensive exotic supercars. In fact there is little out there that will out accelerate it.

I clearly have tonnes to read here and i am glad to be among the knowledgeable.

Cheers for any help in future,

Rog
