| Re: Help Im New And Im Blonde!!! To answer your question(s)---no I would not put a product on auto paint that was made for an entirely different purpose. Tire dressings, as a rule, contain silicone as a large percentage of the product. That is not desireable for a painted surface such as a car. I've no doubt that the black shined like crazy but that will have to be stripped off in order to polish & wax the car in the future. An old trick of yesteryear was to use kerosene or transmission fluid to accomplish the same results. The results are short term and do nothing for correction of the paint or longevity. Those are the type of things that some shady car dealers do in order to get something sold quickly.
I commend you for thinking out of the box and the fact that you are female means nothing to me. Man, woman, straight, gay? I couldn't care less so please step off the pedestal. I did read your previous posts by the way.
Just read, read, and read some more is my best advice. The last thing I want is to debate or condemn your practice with your car. If you want to rub Crisco all over it that's fine with me. Enjoy your stay here and I'll bother you no more. My intent was to make you welcome not to spar with you. |
