Where should a newbie first look at

I've been lurking around here a while back(month ago) and now i seriously want my car(2006 wrx) to gleam!! I know every forum has a must read thread or ultra thread. Anyone mind pointing the way? Thanks alot.

What I did was check out the click and brags and checked out the products used on the cars I thought looked the best. Then I searched for those products and read how to use them. And then I just practiced and practiced, and read and read. Welcome!!
