HOLTY is on a distinguished road
new guy from Pittsburgh

Hello everyone, just want to say this is a great site and i'm proud to be a member. I was referred by a guy name "zaneo" from performancetrucks.net

The reason for me coming here is to learn about detailing and find some products that i can buy and stick with. I've finally got a nice vehicle that i want to take care of and need some help figuring out what products best suit my needs. I have a fullsize Chevy Silverado SS truck that i've used Mothers California Gold on up until i heard about a company called DER Shiney Stuff. I bought some and used it and instantly fell in love with the "new wax technology" of not having to use paste/carnuba wax anymore! I then decided to try the zaino products. I like zaino even more than the DER Stuff. I don't mind spending money on really good products that last and work well. I'm really happy with the zaino so far, but i was wondering if there is anything out there that is better or easier to apply/remove. It seems as if i get confused everytime i try to use the zaino products, as they all just go by abbreviations, and not what the product actually is for. Also, it seems to take FOREVER to do a complete detail using zaino. I've spent 10+hours trying to do this truck. so, is there anything out there that dosn't require so many coats, that is just as good as zaino? should i be using a buffer of some sort? i'm needing to order supplies this week so any replies would be helpful. looking to get ULTIMATE protection for a everyday driver, plus a show car shine. THANKS!
