Oh man the addiction..

Just started posting a few days ago, been lurking here for a while now though, figured I'd stop in and say hey to everyone. I can't believe how easily addicting auto detailing is. I spend hours upon hours reading through various procedures and products. My gf hates it! I have to keep telling her when I'm properly set up, her black car will benefit more out of this addiction than my titanium fishish

Anyways, see ya on the boards.

Springfield Missouri......I used to live in St. Robert/Waynesville.....Ft. Leonard Wood...sure you know where it's at. Lived there for quite a while. I'll be driving through around Easter time to visit family....

Anyways...welcome and yes...an addiction that can go overboard

Welcome to the boards man, yeah, you don't know the half of it. I started getting serious about my detailing a couple years ago. Now I have close to a couple thousand dollars in detailing gear stored in my closet. Everytime I have friends over, they look and say, "what is all that stuff" and I say "detailing gear" and then they kindah loko at me like im retarted...lmao.

My neighbor gave me a look like that this weekend then proceeded with a silly little giggle as she said my name... must have been the nice way of saying FREAK

This was a weekend where I washed my car 3 times in 2 days, fully detailed a mini, and did a full detail on my girlfriends brand new Scion TC.

This is addictive and can be expensive. I told myself a few weeks ago that I would not buy as many items... since then I've only had 3 on line orders

Have fun and welcome to the site.

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. I can't even begin to desribe this addiction. I come here just about every night to read through all of the interesting new threads. Only been a member for a few weeks and have already made several purchases! Now I just need to get a PC so I can polish my car up. My gf is already starting to think I'm crazy, I just have to keep telling her that all of this will benefit her black car more than my own (usually an effective excuse ).

Texas TB,

Too bad you left MO, I'd love to get some local autopians together and to give me some tips/training.
