I do, and I even have his home address!

I'm hoping to hear his views on the sample of FK #425

Accumulator is definately a true asset to the forum. 10,000 posts of informative, polite, articulate, in depth, accurate and witty information.

Exclamation Guys, you know what they say about MSNBC:

"the quality of the info is inversely proportional to its frequency!"

Just kidding, Accumulator. You clearly are a level-headed talent and know way too much about proper car care…just like Spilchy said!

Guess this is as good a thread as any to do the 10Kth post

Heh heh, thanks folks As I've often said, this is sorta an extension of my teaching, and hey, it's a way to talk detailing with people who care about it as much as I do (probably more! I'd rather drive 'em than detail 'em). And I think it's really cool how I can continue to *still* learn so much from everybody after having detailed forever and a day.

Oh, and I basically stick with the semi-anonymous "Accumulator" as a security policy, having reasons to be a bit cyber-paranoid. I genuinely hope nobody takes this the wrong way and I apologize if it offends anybody. FWIW, I'm probably even *more* cautious about this sort of thing in off-line life than I am on the 'net; it's smart for me to be careful.

Now if I can just get around to digitalizing/uploading/etc. some pictures I can start nipping at ScottWax's heels I *have* been taking photos of the RX-7 project so maybe I really will get some pics up some day.

Also (correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe Accumulator also coined the use of the character * to go between words for emphasis. Nobody else seemed to do that but Accum's posts were loaded with them.

I always felt it was his way of personalizing experiences that may differ from others to remind us of the personal, subjective nature of these fickle products and to prevent any flame wars from occuring. Again, an indication of his level headedness (figuratively speaking ) and sense of decorum.

I often see folks copy that technique, present company included.

Just thought *I'd* share that

I for one would love to see some Accumulator photos. Admittedly, that's the thing I love most about viewing ScottWax's posts. When I look at his photos, my mouth just drops open.

You're going to need to up your post count per day to catch up! Heck, I'm knocking on 30,000 posts (over nearly 6 years) on another board!

Pictures or no pictures, I always look forward to your posts George.
