I'm a newbie!

Hey everyone. I'm Kay (short for Kerisa, which is pronounced Care-E-suh), I'm from Texas and I'm 19 years old. I'm trying to learn about cars and I know next to nothing about cars.

I'm interested in learning more about cars, especially sport cars. (Leave it to a girl to be attracted to sport cars, right? lol) My friend was showing me his engines in both his '98 and '84 Firebirds, and I was amazed at the differences in the two engines. So I wanna learn as much as I can about everything in a car! If anyone could help me, I'd be really grateful!

You might want to think about taking an entry level auto tech class at your local community college. The basics of everything from engines to transmissions to the modern computer systems are covered in these courses.

Either way, this forum is a great place to figure out how to get a car to look bettter than brand new.

Welcome to autopia
