newbie mini owner

hiya...just joined up.
own a black Mini Cooper s and basically its the only car ive owned worth cleaning been waiting for one of these for ages .... got divorced bought the car.
Anyway currently asing meguiars...still experimenting with new formulas and may even goto swissol soon

Other than getting into the back seat to do the interior I love working on our MINI.

Two things really stick out for me. First the brakes dust terribly. If you stay on top of it you can keep them clean with wash soap alone (I use Meg's Gold Class). If you want them clean all the time expect to wash them every two or three days.

Second, due to the aerodynamics of the car the rear collects a lot of dust and grit.

Mini's are great fun! The only pain I find is keeping the black trim clean and free of marks. A Pepper White S Works would be on my Christmas list if my wife could afford one -but I have to make do with detailing them at work.
