I can’t wait to get started

I’ve been around lurking for a while and have learned quite a lot from reading the forum. I don’t ask too many questions because I find most of my answers by doing a search. It can get somewhat confusing though with all the products, opinions and acronyms!

I love detailing my cars. I find it therapeutic, much the same way that many people about painting a picture or other relaxing hobbies. My problem is that living in the frozen north, I get withdrawals over the winter months so about this time of year, I’m really getting antsy. I’ve been spending more time and money getting ready for the season.

I’m really looking forward to this spring because we’ve gotten two new cars since last fall and I can’t wait to get started on them. One is a white 05 Camry so there will be some detailing but not too much. The other is a dark green 01 Buick Century that is swirl (and scratch) city! This was grandpa’s car that will be my daughter’s first car. I can’t wait to tackle that one!

My other cars include a 04 light blue RX330 that I put the clear mask on the front and so far I like it enough that I think I’ll also have it done to the Camry. And my real baby that I can spend days detailing in, out and underneath is my 03 Anniversary edition Corvette.

Thanks to everyone that contributes to these boards!

It sounds like you have the perfect approach to, and reasons for detailing. Good luck weathering the last weeks of winter there--pick up some QEW for the 33 degree days

Welcome aboard.
