Newbie Here in Florida.

I found this website a couple of weeks ago and have decided to register after checking in a couple of times. I live in Miami Shores Florida, am 34 years old, and I have always dabbled in car care in the past, although, I must say that I've never seen a website or a gathering, anyhting like this before . You all take this stuff above and beyond to say the least. Which is exactly the reason why I have joined. Just reading some of the threads has saved me countless of hours already and thousands of dollars in wasted products, which I would have tried in the future. Therefore, I would like to thank you all for the time and generosity each one of you has freely contributed to this "AUTOPIAN" thing, which I'm sure I quite don't understand yet. I never knew that some of these results were ever even achievable, but I know better now. Thank you.

I currently have a black, 1999 Ford Lightning, which I purchased from my boss 3 months ago, sight unseen, which he described as "MINT". Needless to say it is far from mint. I would consider it average, at best, in its current state. Anyway, I thought I was going to have to repaint the truck because the paint is so riddled with swirl marks, scuffs, and scratches everywhere. I mean it looks pretty bad even after its freshly washed. Therefore, I would like to know if there are any AUTOPIANS in the South Florida area for HIRE? I will be learning and trying many of the techniques in the meantime, though, as I am heading out right now to buy this PC 7336 everyone swears by. I can't wait to get started.

And if anyone else can think of or refer an Autopian in the South Florida, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Cesar

HOCKY, I too live in SOFLA - wanting to find a product that will hold up in our hot FL sun, rain, humidity - haven't found it yet, but just started looking.

Good luck in finding someone in SOFLA - I've asked on other websites to no avail.
