Learning alot!

Hello and Happy Holidays to all! I am one of the many guys that seem to lurk and learn before posting, but here I am...I have truly appreciated everything I have learned here over the past months and really enjoy reading everyones' posts! The pics are amazing to see and shows off the kind of experience and dedication around here. A little about me; I have always enjoyed cleaning cars and take pride in having a quality-looking vehicle to drive! Until I started looking on here, I thought I was the only person who cleaned their car in the snow! Until coming here, I used the many consumer products available locally, and some are really good, but I have seen the light! Instead of asking for a bottle of Armor All for Christmas this year, I found myself asking for a PC, pads, Hi Temp products, and S100 (Armor All too... )! I did get this little assortment from the wife: PC7336, Lake Country Cut and Polish Pad, Backing Plate for PC, and Plate for rotary (Coming soon...)

I am now a happy camper! The sad part is, we never get snow in Lexington, SC and what is expected tonight? 2-4" of the white stuff! Oh well, sorry for the long post but just had to share some info...I look forward to continuing my lesson here and hopefully applying it to my future details!

Enjoy the new stuff! And enjoy the snow too...go find a big parking lot and do some drifting!
I know I will tomorrow when we get our forecasted 3".
(E-brake drifts for me since the Max is FWD.)

Sorry for the long delay in returning a post...I could not get signed back on...The whole snow thing was a bust! We got some sleet and everything iced over, but now, just a couple of days later, we are hitting close to 70! Crazy weather, but at least I get to try out my PC and goodies! Hope you got to drift! Take care...

Welcome Rob!

Hope to be joining you in detailing tomorrow, I just purchased a new Honda Pilot EXL, time for protection!

Let us know how you get along with the PC.

Mike,

Is the lake back to normal level yet? If not, any idea when it will be?

Hey Mike, congrats on the new Honda! Nothing like a new car and the desire to keep it that way...I have a 2003 PT Cruiser that will be getting its' first full-blown detail this weekend...My 1992 Mustang GT is second in line. Thanks for the welcome!

Greg, Yes it is about back to normal. The last time I checked it was at 354' which is OK for this time of year. We'll see what Scanna do in the spring and if they let the water level rise to summer levels.

How did the detailing go Rob? Any problems?

Could you post some pics of your finished work?

Thanks. We may head up there this spring/summer then with our boat and jet skis.
