Hi...new member from UK
Hi,
I'm new here, but been nuts about detailing for years. I currently drive a shiny black S60...I will post some pics.
I run a forum in the uK - www.dieselcar.com....which is a forum about dieselcars. The detailing board is probably the most popular....
So hello form the UK...I'm hoping to pick up some more tips from here.
Cheers,
Ian

Gotta love the S60 (diesels are not too popular in the US, although MB are trying to change that)
There are quite a few UK contributors to this forum and I'm sure you'll find a welcome and some usful information on detailing here

Welcome,nice to see more Brits.
Mrs Concours wants a diesel soon, so might need some advice on which one to go for, currently thinking of a used Focus TDCi.
She wants black, I say silver!

Thanks Lynn et al, nice to be part of a friendly forum...
I would have to agree with Mrs Concours....black, but then again I'm biased
The TDCi is a great car...but if you need more advice, pop to www.dieselcar.com you'll find plenty info there

Mr Concours - having driven the Focus and the Golf 130 amongst others I'd go for the VW myself based on the performance which I felt was stronger and it felt more comfortable.
Focus handled better though - much more responsive and agile.
Both were extended test drives however so my experience is a bit limited.
My Laguna's pretty good - not great build quality but I do cover a lot of miles. Strong engine and good economy are definite plus points though.
Whatever I end up with next it will certainly run on the smelly stuff - buckets of torque and good mpg can't be beat IMO!
I'd go for silver on my daily driver personally - but that's after months of heartache with a solid red car!!!
