Greetings from NJ

Hey howyoudoin! Just signed up, I found out about this site thru another forum. I actually am a Moderator on a popular car forum for the Detailing section we have on it. I also am an anal car care enthusiast - I love making my car as clean as possible.. It's a reflection on the owner!

Dunno if many newcomers list their "gear" but here's what I use when I clean/detail. Please feel free to comment on anything and provide better suggestions on products I should use!

Welcome fellow New Jersian ! There's a few of us here from the Garden State. What do you think of Griot's products? I've never tried them.

Dr. G - I recommend Griot's stuff. I tad on the pricey side but from all the stuff he offers you get the feeling he's a super-anal detailer.

Falcon - I'm 15E.. Off of Rt. 280/80

We are almost neighbors

I have been trying to get a NJ "tech Fest" or something that would probably just be beers and detailing together for a while. If any fellow NJ people would be interested drop me an email.....

Parmesan...where would you place Griot's Tire dressing as far as shine goes? I'm currently using 3M for my tires but I'd like a tad more shine. I don't like the ooey-gooey stuff but want more than a matte surface or slight sheen.

Thanks

dr. g - the griot's dressing is very matte. it's wonderful in that it doesnt run, drip, or look super slick.. it isn't however, a good tire shine. i use it primarily for my interior door panels and pieces and the rubber weatherstripping.
