Smile Intro

Hello Everyone,

I just joined this forum to ask you guys some questions that I have. I recently bought my first new car, a beautiful Volvo S60 R and I am new to keeping a car nice and shiny. I have to admit that I hardly ever washed (and certainly never waxed or anything) my previous cars - and they looked accordingly much of the time.

But now it will be all different. I bought some supplies and microfiber things (that Pakshak drying towel is awesome!) and even regularly clean my car's wheels now. Wow! I have really turned around 180°.

So, I know I will learn a lot here and get a lot of helpful advice - which I certainly will need. Thanks in advance!

Matt

Glad to have ya here. To get started, I’d recommend that you read David's articles at the "Learn" icon at the top of the page. And reading the House Rules (upper left of the home page) will tell you a bit about our operating procedures. Then, what some new folks do is read thru the previous posts in the Autopia Univ forum; in addition to teaching you lots of the basics, that will give you a sense of which questions have already been asked and answered a gazillion times. Also, a lot of folks take a while to discover our Reviews section, where we've posted lots of our own evaluations of products; it's at http://www.autopia.org/review/index.php, if you're interested. And if/when you get ready to place orders, be sure to check on all the discounts Autopians get.

You'll find that Autopians are really happy to share their info and experiences. Read, learn, be sure to ask us for more info.

Was about to ask you who "Dark Sid" was.

Welcome to the forum! I've been coming here on and off for ... oh, who knows. Quite awhile. Enjoy!
