I havent been here in a while. What happened to advice? The advice was the best!
And now you've got a guys only section.
What about a girls only one. Equal rights, baby.

I wanted to ask if there's a pro detailer in Northern VA, DC or Maryland willing to
tell me what I can do for my Beetle, and supervise me doing it, so I can learn and
feel a sense of accomplishment with it.
I know whoever chooses to help will not get paid and that time is money, but I think whoever might choose to help will be pretty impressed there are FEMALES out here willing and wanting to learn.

My problem is severe road rash on the front bumper, after FIVE months VW finally got me touch up paint. It's been insane
how long they have taken!!

So I have the paint, I'm dying to sand, but I really feel I need someone there
to SHOW me & guide me on this !!
Anyone???????

julias_vw_bug, there was very little traffic or posting on the "girls" forum, so it went off into the sunset ... or at least that's my perception of what happened.

No need to look for a "girls-only forum." Just post your questions in the appropriate forum, and folks will weigh in.

If you're looking for a Pro Detailer to give you a freebie, then post that request in the Pro Detailers forum. But don't expect folks to fall all over themselves to take you up on that "opportunity." If you're looking for that kind of freebie advice, your best bet may be to hook up with one of the Autopia get-togethers that have been occuring recently. But since you haven't chosen to reveal your location (in your User CP), I can't tell you which group you might hook up with. St Louis Autopians had a well-attended get-together, and I know there have been others. Your best best may be to hook up with one of those.
