You've come to the right place to learn the art of proper car care and you will find so many great tips it'll make your head spin. Check out the "learn!" link located at the upper right corner, lots of basic information to get you started. A word of caution though, watch out for the "shop!" one, you'll get hooked.

What products have you been using on your new Passat thus far? A great pair to check out is einszett Metallic Polish and Glanz Wax. I am a big fan of their products, and Michael is awesome for customer service. He will even send you some samples to get started, email him at michael@1z-usa.com and request what you want to try. Well I've only had it a week but a friend of mine came over and we used his Klasse products on it. It looks good but I don't want to just stick with the first thing I put on it. I also know that some products look better on certain colors so I know I need to do my research. My car is black with chrome trim. mmm love that chrome. So I guess I have a lot of reading to do

Looks like you've already started out with a great product. Good idea to test different things though. Find what works for you. Experimentation is the fun part!
