Hey everyone

First of all what an amazing site

I drive a 96 Accord in white. It's hard to keep clean over here in Scotland, too much rain But I try my best with a fine selection of Meguiars. I do get complemented on the shine but it never looks as good as I want it.

I hope this site will teach me the steps involved in getting that perfect shine

Great learn section by the way

Hi Stevie,

Welcome to Autopia - lots of info here for you - try and concentrate on techniques rather than products otherwise it can get very frustrating (unless you like paying lots of import charges!)

And buy the book! - must do that myself one of these days

Welcome to Autopia

Buying the book is a great idea. If you want to make your car look perfect this is the place. Dont worry about the effect of rain, there are lots of ways of maintaining the perfect look.

Where in Scotland are you?

Steven

and I gotta agree with butchdave (yeah, see my sig line): Focus on good technique, and get the best products available to you in Scotland. There are a decent number of UK Autopians, and I bet they'll help you find your way around.

And glad to hear you've already explored the articles in the "Learn" section!
