Hi! I just joined recently and wanted to introduce myself. The universe of car care has gotten very "detailed" it seems. I come from the experience of basically using a portable vacuum, wax and windex to make my cars look good. The site looks very informative and well put-together. I look forward to learning how toi really make my cars shine.

I found this site because of the two cars I currently own. I have a 2001 VW GTI 1.8L turbo and a 1989 Honda Prelude 2.0 Si 4ws (4-wheel steer). I like the performance and featuers of both and want to keep them as long as I can and get them to look their best.

Hi! Thanks for the welcome! I am on VWvortex but I have been more of a lurker than a post-er. My GTi is silver. What products do you use to take care of yours?

I always use these: HD UNO, HD POLISH, HD SPEED, in some shape or form to keep the paint looking great. Normally I use HD POXY to protect.

Very simple system and the look is amazing.

Here is an easy detail, not a VW but at least similar color, so you can get a good idea of the look you would get with HD products

1st HD SPEED Detail
