Greetings from a Diesel Fan

New to Autopia and a recent diesel convert. Bought a VW Jetta Sportswagon two months ago and am averaging 38 MPG to date. In addition, the purchase experience at VW was top-notch and all service is included for the warranty period.

Beyond that, I have been detailing cars as a hobby for about 5 years. Still consider myself a rookie and learn something new with every car.

Re: Greetings from a Diesel Fan

Hi DogGuy, better late than never I suppose
I`ve had diesels for years but like many others in the UK seriously thinking of returning back to petrol power because of the complexity of the modern diesel (expensive and troublesome Dual Mass Flywheels and Diesel Particulate Filters)

Nice! There's so much you can do with those mkvs, I've got a 2006 jetta GLI myself.
