Hello from Upstate NY.

Hello all.

I am getting my dream car later this week - a 2007 Gallardo Nera with 1900 miles on it. Although black is my favorite color, it's the least forgiving. The car had several swirls, in some cases rather severe, so the dealer had to wet sand certain areas and use 3M extra cut 06060, then glaze. Should I be concerned this approach was too aggressive?

Now that it's hopefully 100 percent corrected, how shall I maintain this? The dealer told me to wait two weeks, then use any wax. Does it really take two weeks for sealant to cure? This car is black mixed with flat black panels. Sounds like it's going to be a nightmare to wax!

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks!
